College Road

College Road is a historic milestone for Croydon, for volumetric construction, and for the way that we live in cities. The scheme comprises two interconnected buildings: a 35-storey tower with 120 much-needed affordable
homes, and a 50-storey tower with 817 co-living homes and seven dedicated floors of innovative and varied amenity spaces.

At 163m College Road is the tallest volumetric tower in Europe.

CGP MEP were appointed by Red Group to provide Stage 4 detailed Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health design as well as Stage 5 Construction information working closely with the MEP supply chain.

College Road utilised highly efficient roof mounted Air source Heat Pump technology combined with gas boilers in order to deliver heating and hot water to each unit. The project has a BREEAM very good rating and an EPC B rating.
