Caldicot Leisure Centre

The project is for the partial refurbishment and remodelling of the existing leisure centre located on Mill Lane, the existing building was constructed around 1995 and was in need of refreshment and enhancement.

The refurbishment briefly comprises of the following areas:

• Fitness Suites/ Studios
• Soft Play Area
• Changing Facilities
• Kitchen
• Spectator/ General Seating
• Offices
• Toilet Facilities

Where possible existing plant and equipment was to be attained to meet the project budget constraints, which meant we had to work closely with the centre staff and carry out extensive surveys to ensure any retained plant or equipment was in suitable condition and offered a sufficient life span following completion of the works.

CGP MEP undertook the Stage 2 and 3 design for ISG to ensure the Clients aspirations were achieved whilst working with the MEP Contractor to ensure project costs were aligned to the ISG Contractor Proposals.

The design was completed using Revit MEP.
